DIRECTIONS FOR RAPID RESPONSE® (all formulas)
Recommended directions: Take 2 to 4 ounces a day in one dose or 2 ounces twice daily (if needed for pain relief) as a nutritional supplement. Can also be used externally.
For an average human: The amount of a dose is based more on problems than weight. Daily dosing: 2 oz maintenance and 4 ounces (once daily or twice a day) for problems. Basically the dosing is individualized based on problem.
Dose to maintain overall health is 1 to 2 ounces daily. Note: for serious injury recovery it is recommended to take 2 ounces twice daily for a total of 4 ounces a day. May be added to any juice if preferred A suggested mixture of 1 part Rapid Response to 2 parts of Sunny D orange drink taken cold is very tasty.
External application will improve results and is highly recommended if possible. Wrap externally when possible. Wrapping externally allows the body the opportunity to take advantage of Rapid Response's topical abilities and rid the injured area of toxins and free radicals and drive nutrients needed by the body into the area quicker. It can also help relieve pain.
Wrapping Instructions:
Open wounds: Apply Rapid Response on the area and cover with a pad to protect it from getting dirty or leave open to the air which ever is more convenient for the wound. (Do not use plastic wrap on the wound.)
Please note when first applying Rapid Response to an open wound it might sting for a couple of minutes due to its antiseptic action but then its antibiotic action and pain relief will quickly take over in the wound.
For an injured area that has no opening: Use enough Rapid Response to liberally cover the injured area. Apply the Rapid Response to a cotton pad and apply over the area. Then apply plastic (such as saran wrap) over the area. The plastic creates relaxing warmth to the area and creates an atmosphere to help Rapid Response help you. Then apply a protective wrap over it to prevent leakage. We have found the best time to apply is during your sleeping hours. (please note Rapid Response can stain clothes or sheets so please use appropriate clothes, sheets and try to avoid leakage such as a putting your hand or foot in a plastic bag. (It is worth the trouble to wrap it!) You may leave on for the entire 24 hours if desired. Change daily.
NOTE: It is very important that Rapid Response is not used externally over any other topical products. If you have used other products externally, clean the area thoroughly before using Rapid Response externally. (If there is any residue left from another product it can result in discomfort.)
Items needed to wrap: Rapid Response™, absorbent cotton pad, scissors, plastic wrap or equivalent, Ace bandage or equivalent or other wrap. We have found that Vet-wrap is excellent for this purpose.
Always use common sense when wrapping. Wrap the plastic tight enough that it will hold the liquid Rapid Response in place but do not cut off your circulation or cause damage to the area.
NOTE
I have also recommended applying the RR on sheet cotton or a pad for humans or animals (bed pad located in the senior area of a pharmacy and it is made of a thin cotton with a plastic backing (breathing plastic...does not get too warm but holds the RR in the area and prevents leakage and it is easier to apply) and then also applying a heating pad under low heat to get a little warmth in the area. Usually it will provide almost immediate pain relief and the RR absorbs into the area to speed up the healing process. All of these methods have been successful based on feedback from people which is how we do our research to find better answers to ways to use RR. Usually the person chooses which way using RR works for them.
